Toolkit for Parents with an Anxious Child

Research emerging from the Covid 19 pandemic in the UK suggests that young people are feeling more anxious than they did before the outbreak. Half of all anxiety problems start before the age of 12 and this is a critical stage in a child’s development. If steps are taken to address the anxiety before it ‘takes root’, there is a much greater chance of remedying it.

> I work directly with the parent/primary caregiver

> I teach evidence-based strategies using CBT and somatic techniques for parents to use with their anxious child.

What’s included:

> Six weekly sessions over a six week period consisting of four one hour sessions conducted via webcam and two twenty minute telephone calls.

> A set of worksheets for the child and parent to complete between sessions. These worksheets can help children understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected.

Cost: £270

If you would like to arrange a no obligation twenty minute telephone conversation in order to learn more about this programme, please get in touch via the form at the bottom of this page and I will get back to you soon.  Thank you.
